Your feline friends are an integrate part of your home and family, and though they can sometimes have the reputation of being somewhat temperamental, we all know that the love of a cat is “seen as an unparallel gift one may receive”, as our good friend Charles Dickens once said. We are here to tend to the needs of your precious kitten, be it dental care, vaccinations, treating an illness or just a good healthy dose of love during their annual health check!

We are privileged to have a fully functional hospital on site complete with state of the art equipment for surgery and in-hospital treatment. Our patients are kept comfortable in cages furnished with well-padded mattresses and comfortable bedding. Our clinic is complete with a well-stocked theatre, anaesthetic monitoring and oxygen machines, dental machine and a state of the art digital x-ray machine. We are also equipped with an ultrasound machine and a complete set of blood machines, allowing us to do a vast array of diagnostic blood tests in-house. We offer an array of services for your cat(s). Surgery

Regular Health Checks and Vaccinations

  • Nutritional guidance according to size, type and age of each kitten/cat

Radiographs

State of the art Idexx Catalyst, Lasercyte and Vcheck blood machines to evaluate a wide range of blood tests:

  • Testing Thyroid (hyperthyroidism in cats), and pancreatitis
  • Pre anaesthetic blood health profiles
  • Kidney and Liver health (3/5 cats over the age of 7 suffer from kidney disease)
  • Evaluate red and white cell counts
  • Screen for Diabetes and other conditions
  • Blood pressure measurements to diagnose hypertension (high blood pressure – common in cats)

Weight Loss Clinic

Assistance With Traveling (Exports)

Euthanasia

  • It is never an easy time, but we do what we can to provide a quiet, peaceful and respectful environment for the final moments with your beloved feline friend
  • We have a professional and reputable company we work with to take care of your passed pet after crossing the rainbow bridge
  • We have multiple options ranging from a Bio-burial to return of ashes available to our clients to choose from and will take care of everything for you.
  • Please keep in mind that we do offer home visits as well, and can have this entire process done in your home environment, where your cat is most comfortable

ALL DAY Consultations Available

  • We cater for BUSY cat parents by offering consultations from 8 am to 6 pm on weekdays
  • Saturdays from 8am to 1pm
  • We try to accommodate everyone’s busy schedules

24 Hour Emergency Service Available:

  • Though Teva is not on call every night, we share a rotational on call system between practices in the Helderberg
  • There is always someone on call 24/7, 365 days of the year
  • Practises work together and share the duties of afterhours emergencies

Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation
